This is insane to me. After seeing the kittens die from each of the litters I dealt with last month, I couldn’t help but think how lucky humans are – at least in the U.S. – to have a 6/1000 infant mortality instead of a, what, 300/1000 rate? And why is that? Health care. Well, not living under a shed certainly helps. But you catch my drift. I mean, jeez, what good can come of taking healthcare away from infants and children?!
