Interesting site
You can check your risk for developing certain diseases
here. There are little quizzes for diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and all type of cancers. You go through and say your height and weight and it asks you questions about your history and lifestyle and tells you if your risk for getting that certain disease is average, above average, below average, etc.
Interesting, and it also shows you what you should be doing differently to avoid the disease, and it tells you what you're doing
well too. Apparently I'm on the high side of average of developing colon cancer, probably because my dad had it, but I can help decrease the risk by taking a multivitamin and aspirin 4-6 days per week. Of course, aspirin can also increase your risk of stroke, bleeding, and ulcers, soo... Maybe I'll wait 'til I'm 40 to start doing that.
