Cats like to sleep a lot. My kitten is no different. She also likes to eat. Her day goes something like this: Wake up, eat breakfast #1, tape nap #1, get smacked by Suki, take nap #2, eat breakfast #2, chase a lizard, et cetera. Preceding naps #1-9 of the day, she will often sit with her eyes half-open and look around. Once in a while, I think when she’s really tired (all that eating, you know), this will be accompanied by the tip of her tongue hanging out. As shown here.

And by the way, I do know that she’s really no longer a kitten. She’s grown so much it shocks me daily. But, like, she really doesn’t have any other name. I was thinking Sushi.
