it gets even better
(re last post)
i called my sis today and told her what i saw on myspace.
she said that wynne chose the name off of some chinese name website. (the dad is hmong, not chinese, so don't ask me.)
however, her boyfriend told her mom that, in fact, he chose the name. where did he get it from?
radon is a character on mortal kombat. the video game.

my first thought when i saw radon was mortal kombat. maybe my brain is still 19? though i wouldn't name my child that. it seems like everyone wants their childs name to be unique, so they think of something completely off the wall.. but so is everyone else. to be different nowadays is to have a perfectly normal name. I heard utah is the worst with funky names, which i didn't realize could be true till i looked at my kids yearbook. it's true.
The Mortal Kombat character is "Raiden" (or "Rayden"). I'm trying to figure out which is worse: naming a child after a radioactive gas or naming a child after a misspelling of a god from a video game universe.
true dat, anna banana. also, strange that your kids are old enough to have yearbooks. weird.
